S. Fikry Medicine Professional Corporation is a successful practice established in 2010 by Dr. Sameh Fikry. In addition to a Family Practice, S. Fikry Medicine Professional Corporation has a Clinical Research department that focuses on research in all areas of general medicine — including diabetes, chronic obstructive bronchitis, asthma, women's health, hypertension, dyslipidemia, migraine, and Crohn's disease.
Recently, we have successfully launched After Hours and On Call Travel Clinic in order to accommodate the busy schedules and promote patient focused care related to travel. With a full-time travel nurse specialist on staff, the travel clinic operates by appointment every evening and on-call for last minute travel needs.
Our family practice is conveniently located midway between Kitchener and Waterloo on Union Street East on a medical plaza, which features large and free parking and is accessible by public transportation. The office offers a genuine modern style with a large, comfortable waiting area and four extra large capacious medical examination rooms with top-of-the-line equipment. Our professional and friendly staff, nurses, and doctors are ready to serve your everyday family health needs!

Travel Vaccines in Ontario are not publicly funded by OHIP. Selected routine vaccines are funded through OHIP by primary health care providers (MMR, Adacel, Pneumovax 23, Varivax, Polio, Flu). A consult and injection/dispensing fee plus the cost of travel vaccines/medications apply to all the appointments at AHOCTC and are due on the day of appointment in full. For safety reasons we are unable to administer vaccines/medications without consultation which includes review of health history, prior vaccinations, allergies, medical conditions or procedures and medications. Vaccines are destination specific and patient specific based on your health history which will be reviewed during your appointment. Valid invoice will be provided to you along with receipt to submit to your benefits for possible reimbursement. We accept debit and most major credit cards as form of payment. One consult fee per person applies per destination, after which only the cost of vaccine plus injection fee and dispensing fee for any booster appointments applies. Please speak to one of our friendly health care professionals about prices. We offer student discounts and occasional monthly specials. We operate by appointment only during our after-hours schedule and are on call (extra fee applies) for last minute urgent needs. We reserve the right to change the prices at any given time. Quoted prices during consult will be honored only if series of vaccines are paid during consult in full. Should the client decide to pay per injection and not the whole series during the consult, prices are subject to change without limitation. In case of vaccine shortage, we operate on First-come, First-served basis. Due to safety reasons, there are no refunds to be applied to medications that have been sold and left AHOCTC premises.
